2 Day Avalanche Safety Training Level 1 for backcountry touring.

Day 1  8:30am – 4:00pm – Avaware Classroom @ 7181 Brewer rd. Coldstream, BC
Day 2  8:00am – 4:00pm – Field Day meet outside NATC building.

This 2 day course is your ticket to winter fun and adventure in the backcountry.  It’s perfect for those interested in learning more about backcountry safety, Backcountry ski touring and splitboarding in avalanche terrain, terrain assessment and snowpack evaluation.

Required course equipment:
-Digital 3 antenna transceiver, shovel and probe. *Rentals available.
-Airbags are not mandatory. But plese bring a backpack to carry your avi gear.
-Alpine Skis or Snowboard are acceptable. (Unless otherwise specified on your field day)
