This introductory Avalanche Skill Training Level 1 will take place in Vernon, B.C. The First day is theory at Alexander’s Pub meeting room.

This is a great way for those interested in learning more about backcountry safety, ski/splitboard touring techniques, terrain assessment and snowpack evaluation will benefit from this 2 day course. The Gear required for this course will include AT ski’s or Splitboard and a Transceiver, Shovel and Probe. Limited rentals available.
