This introductory AST 1 will take place at in Vernon, BC

This 2 day course is your ticket to winter fun & adventure in the backcountry.  It’s perfect for those interested in learning more about backcountry safety, sledding in avalanche terrain, terrain assessment and snowpack evaluation.
Day 1  8:30am-4:00pm – Indoor theory day at Innerspace watersports in Vernon, BC.


Day 2  7:30am-5pm – Field day at Hunter’s Range Snowmobile Club

Required course equipment:
-Digital 3 antenna transceiver (no analog), shovel and probe. *Rentals available.
-Airbags are not mandatory but encouraged.
-Mountain Sled or Snowbike
